St. Patrick Hospital and Health Foundation Annual Report and Donor Acknowledgment
Each year the Foundation publishes and makes public an Annual Report. Click here to access the 2010 Annual Report.
2010 Acts of Compassion and Mercy:
-
Provided food, clothing and compassionate shelter for 1,782 individuals at St. Patrick House in 2010. Since its beginning 11 years ago, 14,628 men, women and children have been cared for through this unique ministry.
-
Life-saving care begins with quality medical research. St. Patrick Hospital is an outstanding leader in its support of cutting-edge research, in affiliation with the University of Montana. Clinical trials in cancer, heart disease, general medicine and neuroscience promote the integration of patient care in collaborations between experts in research and clinical medicine. In 2010 the Foundation began to fund research into the body’s immune response to injury and illness.
-
Provided funds for emergency dental care, transportation, living expenses, medications, food, clothing and shelter for patients and families who found themselves in desperate need last year.
-
Life Flight has served Western Montana as St. Patrick Hospital’s air ambulance since 1981 and will celebrate its 30th year birthday in 2011. In 2010 the Foundation funded the purchase of Life Pak 15, which is a cardiac monitor and defibrillator piece of equipment that provides improved monitoring of our patients.
A special thank you to our 2010 donors who make it possible for us to fulfill our Mission: “As people of Providence, we reveal God’s love for all, especially the poor and vulnerable, through our compassionate service.” We are deeply appreciative and humbled by your kindness and generosity.
Life Can Change in an Instant
We are ready when it does. The new Emergency Department at St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center is up and running after generous contributions from our donors. The Emergency Department Capital Campaign helped us transform the 25-year old Emergency Department, built to treat 10,000 patients annually, to a state-of-the-art trauma services center updated and expanded to meet Western Montana’s growing population.
