The St. Patrick Hospital Wound Care Center has been serving the western Montana region for over seven years. We employ innovative treatments for wounds including antimicrobial dressings, growth factors and skin substitutes. We use VAC therapy for select wounds to remove excess drainage, improve blood circulation, and speed healing time. We treat arterial, venous and diabetic wounds which are causes of poor circulation. We also treat pressure ulcers, burns, non-healing surgical and traumatic injury wounds. Our center has a healing rate of greater than 85%.
Our medical staff includes four specialists in the fields of Vascular, Plastic, and Podiatric (foot) surgery. In addition, we have an Emergency Medicine specialist who treats both acute and chronic wounds. Our physicians keep your doctor informed of your progress after each visit at the Wound Care Center. Our three nurses are wound care certified. A large focus of our care is patient education. We believe that good communication is important in improving patient outcomes.
The St. Patrick Hospital Wound Care Center is located on the first floor of the Broadway Building in the Wellness Center. Physician and self-referrals are welcome. Call 406.329.5736 to schedule an appointment.
