Life Flight of St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana offers rotor wing, fixed wing and ground transport for adult and pediatric medical and trauma patients.
Life Flight has been in operation for 30 years, since 1981. The medical crew members are highly experienced, averaging over 8 years of service with this program. All of the Life Flight nurses have advanced Critical Care certification, and all Life Flight Paramedics are certified Critical Care Paramedics.
In 2001, Life Flight became the first air ambulance program in Montana to be certified by CAMTS, the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services.
Life Flight has transported thousands of children and adults from throughout western Montana. We use our helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft and critical care ground transport ambulance to bring life saving care to our patients.
Metro Aviation is the holder and operator of our FAA Part 135 Certificate. All flights are conducted by, and operational control over all aircaft is exercised solely by our highly experienced aviation provider, Metro Aviation, Inc. of Shreveport, LA.
