Rehabilitation is a team effort. The whole team is here for guidance, education and support, but you are the key player. St. Pat's Rehabilitation Center includes the following types of therapists and providers to help you reach your recovery goals.
Physiatrist - As a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation oversees your individualized treatment.
Physical Therapist - Helps you regain movement in the safest way.
Occupational Therapist - Teaches you new ways to perform daily activities such as grooming, bathing and dressing.
Speech Therapist - Provides help with speaking, thinking and swallowing.
Rehabilitation Nurse - Gives ongoing education and self-care and reinforces the skills you've learned.
Social Worker - Offers support to patients and families and arranges needed services for discharge.
Dietician - assesses nutritional needs for healing.
Your Family - When you get home, your family will need to know how to help you, which is why we include your family throughout the program.
