Spirituality is a part of every human life. It is our spirituality that lets us feel love, feel inspired by the beauty of a sunset, think about life, give us strength to endure difficult times and to look with hope to our future. We are all spiritual whether we express spirituality through religion or not.
The foundresses of St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center, the Sisters of Providence, were inspired to bring Christ’s healing compassion to all those in need – and that ministry continues today through the employees of the hospital. By treating one another with respect and compassion, we help to bring God’s healing presence to one another.
Hospitalization often makes us feel helpless. It is not unusual to find ourselves questioning every part of life – including our faith. Spiritual caregivers serve as companions alongside you and your family as you face this time of uncertainty.
